Design Criteria:
The BACCHUS & GAMMA Peer Education Network,
in collaboration with Pharmacia, the makers of the birth control
Depo Provera, developed a concept for a web site that would promote
healthy and safe sex practices and the use of birth control among
young adults. With the exception of the content, AGMS would be responsible
for producing the entire site, including logo design, site design,
imagery placement, and incorporation of content.
Implementation:
The first step of this project involved
creating a brand for SmarterSex.org. Prior to implementation of
this project, SmarterSex.org had no unique, identifiable features,
and the first priority was to develop a SmarterSex.org brand that
visitors would recognize. To accomplish this, AGMS developed the
SmarterSex.org logo and incorporated colors specified by the client.
This content-rich site required a design that would make navigating
easy, and a search application was included to make locating specific
information a snap. To achieve interactivity, AGMS developed quizzes
complete with automated scoring and detailed answers so visitors
can test their knowledge of smart sex practices. Eye-catching and
interesting imagery round out this fun and educational site.
